Mr. Bansal is 3650 REIT’s Head of Trading. Mr. Bansal brings over 30 years of broad markets experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, and technology. Roles he has held include head of trading, head of securitization/banking, head of CRE warehouse financing, head of structuring, and head of portfolio management and advisory.

Prior to 3650 REIT, Malay was a Senior Portfolio Manager & Head of Capital Markets for CMBS Lending at BNY Mellon Investment Management. Prior to BNYM, Malay was a Senior Director in the Multifamily division of Freddie Mac, where he oversaw a 12-person loan pricing and securitization structuring group.

Previously, as Managing Director at NewOak Capital, Malay did advisory, underwriting/valuation of real estate loan and bond portfolios. Prior to NewOak, Malay was at Merrill Lynch for 15 years where he was CMBS Lead Securitization Banker and Head of Pricing & Structuring for US & Canada for majority of the time, after working on Options and CMO desks, and before being given responsibility to build a new CRE warehouse financing and securitization business in 2006. Prior to Merrill, Malay worked on design and development of large networked database systems.

Malay holds an MBA from Rutgers University, and MS in Economics & BS in Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani.
